Buttons and Children

When I was little I used to sit beside my mom while she mended everyone's clothes. I played with her button stash while she worked. I think that is why I like buttons so much today. The comfort of having my Mom nearby humming, praying and teaching me how to count. Our grandchildren want to sit near and just snuggle. Sometimes.... I pull out my button stash. You know what? They love buttons, too.
