Fifi O'Neil Storage

A few years ago
I was trying to decide how to spiff- up this storage unit that we had bought from Lowe's .... when.....

Lo and Behold.... this picture was in
one of my magazines! Fifi O'Neil has the greatest eye for making simple things glamorous!

Love her style!

Black and cream toile is a favorite of mine [it can be found in almost every room of our cottage] and it goes beautifully with another favorite.

Red...I Adore Red

Can you tell what room this is? There is a little hint here and there.

Loads of things can be hidden behind the fabric.

Can you guess that this is my sewing/jewelry crafting/soap making/ studio! I am so blessed to have a room dedicated to all my junk, I mean, supplies!

My trusty old Kenmore. The Bulletin board hanging above the sewing machine is the one I made in a previous post. You can go here to make your own.

My office chair can slide around from one task to another. I use the large desk as a cutting board/ work area .

This desk is hardly ever seen. It is covered with fabric or beads most of the time.

The armoire stores scrapbook and  embroidery supplies.

Fabric and buttons are stored in the unit across from my desk.

Did I ever tell you that I love red?

Like you, I am blessed to have a room of my own. I'm studying your creative space to determine how to make my tiny room more efficient and yet maintain the pretty. I really need to keep my sewing machine out so I will use it more. So I'm using your pretty space for inspiration and now off to pondering.

Love your sewing/craft room and the toile shelf is not only practical but beautiful. I think we may even have the same sewing machine. Looking forward to reading more of your blog.
