Something's Fishy....Part Two

I haven't left you hanging on the progress of our little fish pond on purpose.

We are making headway, but not quite finished for the final reveal.

 We bought a water hyacinth.....
 and what  beautiful blooms!

The fountain aeration pump is keeping the water nice and clear.

We have some very happy frogs, the dragonflies LOVE our little pond.

We have extended the pavers on both sides of our cobbles.
Since this is a very low budget project
we used some materials that we had on hand.

I made use of a fabric remnant for the table....

A fire ring.

Liyah testing out the fire ring.....

Marshmallows taste better around a campfire with our grands....

Before the pavers were put down
a trench was dug to bury the electric lines for the pumps and lights.

Progress indeed!

A 'vicious' game of Uno....wonderful fun!

We still have quite a number of things to do before we are 'finished'.
Will keep you posted!
If you missed the first post about our fish pond you can see it here.

Hope your week is wonderfully blessed.

I left my pond behind when I got divorced last year. I really miss that pond! Yours is beautiful!

Loving seeing and reading about your fish pond. We have one also, and love the "nature" feel it brings.
we look forward to feeding the fish. Love the water hyacinth, we can't have anymore, out waterfall sucks them in to the filter. I love the sound of running water I love the frog, gosh how do you get one to stay! So glad you shared your creative inspiration with Sunday’s Best – your creativity helped make the party a success!
