Time to Go Take a Hike

Everyone is asking the same old question.

 Where did the summer go???

We are blessed to have trails galore all around us to hike together.

This summer we started volunteering as Trail overseers for the PATC.

He does the work....I take the pictures.

We spend quality time together hiking the trails nearby.

I'm telling you Summer has
 just zipped right by.

Mountain Laurel

 Before we know it
Fall is going to be here.

We do volunteer work for the P.A.T.C.[Potomac Appalachian Trail Club]

If it is as hot where you are as it is here in Virginia.....
a little bit of cool weather does sound appealing.

If I'm not careful I tumble right into the big old trap of looking way down the road and not seeing what is right here on the path in front of me.

Sooo easy to do!!

He does the work....I take the pictures. We take our Grands along, too.

Before I am aware  time has slipped thru my fingers!

My Sweetheart and  me

Been reading a really good book about this by one of our favorite authors,
Craig Groeschal, called "Weird".

He asks, "When is the last time you stopped long enough to embrace a matters-the most-moment?"

It is a choice we all make everyday. So many things calling out for our attention.

Taking time to enjoy my family and friends is time well spent.

Make some decisions of what really matters in the long run.

Don't let the time stealers keep you from enjoying your life.

Blessings to you and yours,Audrey

Go take a walk with your Sweetie
or play a game with your kids
the housework will be there when you get back.

Ecclesiastes 3

A Time for Everything
1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens: 2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
