Fall Dining Room and Long Time No See

Haven't seen you all forever.
Well at least 11 months ago. Life got busier and the blog took a back seat.
Lot of stuff has happened since I was here last. I will try to play catch up with you as time goes by.
Fall is just around the corner. I have been itching to show you what I've done in our little cottage .

I used my trusty red toolbox on the table to hold a new red mirror from Hobby Lobby and a Homer Laughlin platter. The table runner is made from clearance fabric I bought online from

Three granny smith apples look beautiful in front of the red toolbox.

Detail of the mirror from Hob Lob.

Still loving our pine flooring we put down several years ago.
We rolled up our rugs for the summer and because we have a new member in our family.

Meet Miss Tilly.
She is an adorable puppy.
The rugs will stay in storage until she is COMPLETELY

I made a picture collage out of an old window.  Some sweet friends gifted me with this wonderful Royal typewriter! [Thank you, Judy and Mark]

Does it look like our leather camel is going to eat leaves from my greenery? Love some whimsy!

I still have my white ironstone inside the cabinet. Haven't decided to change it out to new colors for Fall.

Things just look extra special encased in glass. Some smalls on the sideboard....

and string in a trifle bowl.

There you have it. Dining room all set for Fall.

Hope you are doing remarkably well.
Blessings, Audrey

Welcome Back, dear friend!!!
Your dining room table all set for Fall is a perfect way to announce your "Homecoming" to The Land of Blog!!!
I love the little green apples in front of the red tool box!!! What a gorgeous table, the wood is amazing!!!
Miss Tilly looks so~o~o much like our Brittany / Cocker mix named Corky when our sons were small!!! Best dog we ever had and so easy to train to walk, sit, stay. . .
not sure your kitty is overly excited, though!!!
Gorgeous white ironstone collection! I nearly purchased a lidded tureen like yours today while at a local Antique Mall, but decided to wait until after our Annual Vacation!
We, do, have the same Royal typewriter. . .mine is in my creative space, Studio One!!!
I have enjoyed keeping current with you on FB during this busy time in your life...but I was overjoyed when I saw this post!!!
Looking forward to more post in the near future, dear one!!!

Welcome back, Audrey! So glad to see you here in blogland again! Love that toolbox, and there's nothing that says "fall" better than a few apples! Cute pup, good luck on the training.

Dear Audrey,
What wonderful displays you have made. The room is so lovely and inviting with so many interesting things to look at. You did a great job with it. I love that large piece of furniture. A sideboard I guess you would call it.
Yes, whimsy is a wonderful word and we should all have a bit of it to keep us smiling.
Come visit...
Best, Ruthie
