Our Secretary Has Gone To the Dogs

Our secretary has gone to the dogs
and she is RED all over!
But that is OK!
We like her that way.
When we bought our secretary a few years back....
for $75....
we thought we would paint her a different color.
When we got her home we looked at each other and smiled.
Loved her that color!
Since then she has definitely gone to the dogs!
That is OK, too!
We love dogs....
so much so that we collect them...
and place them in and on our red secretary....
a place of honor!

I created a vignette on top with old framed pictures of dogs, a plate depicting a hunting scene and a hunting dog.

Inside are several dogs and tins with hunting scenes.

I use the desktop for my laptop and keep my supplies {cameras, cords, digital ephemera books and disks, etc} in the chest next to the secretary.

Love my plates, baskets and lamps!
Another hunt scene....this time on a box.

We have a gallery of hunt pictures hung next to our secretary...over the chest. The front door has to have room to swing open
so the chest is snugged up close to the desk.

Behind the secretary is a closet where our printer and all kinds of paper product stay hidden.

Some doggy quotes.
“Dogs have Owners, Cats have Staff.”
“Dogs are better than human beings because they know but do not tell.”
“Thorns may hurt you, men desert you, sunlight turn to fog; but you’re never friendless ever, if you have a dog.”
“If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater. . . suggest that he wear a tail.
” Whoever said you can’t buy happiness forgot little puppies."
“You can run with the big dogs or sit on the porch and bark.”
“Properly trained, a man can be a dog’s best friend.”
“Don’t accept your dog’s admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.”

Hope you enjoyed going to the dogs with us!

May you have a blessed week!
