I Love Old Suitcases

I love old suitcases. They are so versatile....

You can use them for storing just about anything!
The beauties below have been used to store cd's, books, scrapbook supplies.... I think they have been used in every room at one time or another.

I have painted suitcases before, but these are special.....they belonged to my grandmother. She carted them around the world with her.

I have been pinning different finds of neat suitcases on my Pinterest Board.

Remember to take time during the holidays to rest and just be still. One of my favorite ways to get centered is to listen to music. Here is one of our favorite worship songs if you would like to hear it.

I am enjoying meeting so many new friends. If you have not joined any of the blog parties...... try one.
It really is a nice way to connect.

I love your grandmother's suitcases!! They are gorgeous!!!! I'm sure you treasure them. I have been looking for cheap but not ratty old suitcases when I'm thrifting, have had some luck. But often they're marked way up due to popularity and supply.

I LOVE those suitcases! They are so different from your run of the mill suitcases we see all the time. Thanks so much for sharing at Sunday's Best =)

Old suitcases are so cool. I just saw a bunch at an antique show yesterday, however, they were way overpriced. Thanks for sharing with my newbie party.

Lucky you to have your Grandmother's suitcases. I love having things to decorate with that have a story. I only have one vintage suitcase that I found at a thrift store and I haven't figured out what to do with it.

Love the suitcases how nice you have the ones that belonged to your Grandmother. The idea to use a suitcase as a medicine cabinet is a clever idea. Will be your newest follower, hope you will stop by, Laura - Cottage and Broome

Loving the suitcases, especially your Grandma's. I love them, but my home is smaller, and I just can't figure out where to use them. Love the same color, makes a statement. Thanks for sharing at Sunday's Best.

I, too, love old suitcases. I have my father's little overnight suitcase he carried when we came to the US in 1961 and started over professionally. That little suitcase reminds me that he was not too proud to start all over again. Thanks for a nice reminder. Visiting from Be Colorful.
