Ruffles and a Rose

I love to embellish stuff with lace and buttons! I start my purses with a pocket on the front.

First I copy an interesting picture on linen fabric, making sure to tint the picture the color of my purse and write a word that speaks to me.
In this case the word was inspire.

Then the fun really begins! I layer lace and fabric and buttons around the picture.

Then line it with a pretty printed fabric, put a ruffle around the edge, a rose on the front and a pocket on the inside. I am working on a tutorial to show you how. It might be ready in the next 5 years.

Here it is hanging on the door where you can see the inside.

A clear shoe storage hangs on the back of the door. I keep like colors together.

More trims are stored under the desk.

I won't show you some of my other hiding places.

I will be linking to these blog parties:

You are so incredibly talented Audrey! The bag is beautiful! Do you sell them? If you don't you should! I particularly like the ruffles and the bling-(can I say bling?)like jewelry embellishment. I would LOVE for you to do a tutorial!
