Our little cottage was a rental when we bought it over 10 years ago.
It had been sadly mistreated.
To move in we put down some carpet.... with the aim of laying hardwood flooring down the road.
A few years ago we decided it was time.
Have you priced hardwood flooring?
Pricey!!!
We looked through magazines, found what we liked and proceeded to get what we wanted without busting the bank.
David picked up boards at Lowe's,
stained those bad boys, put a coat of poly, nailed them,
put more coats of poly! Bee-uu-tiful!
I love it!
