Winter Is Past

This is what my herb sink will look like in June.

This is what it looks like now.

The marbles are supposed to look like bubbles....it is a sink....
I have rosemary, several mints, basil, thyme....
The wire cage is to keep our kitty cats from napping in the middle....
after all....in their minds....every thing is for them...

I am pulling out my Creamware...working on some vignettes...

The Dogwood tress are blooming out front of our little cottage.

Bit by bit......
little by little.....
after a winter season....

things are coming to life!

‘For behold, the winter is past,
The rain is over and gone.
‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for pruning the vines,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
‘The fig tree has ripened its figs,
And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance.
Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
         And come along!’”song of Solomon

Have a blessed week,

Audrey

Looks like everything is coming back to life. Isn't it the truth that the kitties love to nap where we don't want them. You can't blame her for wanting to enjoy the sweet fragrances of the flowers and herbs and beauty of the garden.

Danielle

So pretty. Can't wait until the middle of May. Things are back to life in my area.

Your herb sink is so clever as are the "bubbles"! Doesn't it feel great to kick Winter away?

I love that sink! And your resolve to plant such a great herb garden. We'll try planting one too, but ours will be boring compared to yours!

I laughed at what you said about the cat so true. It is nice to see spring again even if today is cold and wet.

It is all about the cats, isn't it? I love the idea of using a sink, thanks for the inspiration.

I love your herb sink, what a cute idea. Isn't it great when spring is coming up all over. Just yesterday as I walked my garden, my herbs were coming up, and had chives for our potatoes. Love your ideas. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best!
