Texture Tuesday Teapot

On Tuesdays the awesome Kim of Kim Klassen Cafe hosts a link up for you to meet other folks who love playing with textures. Not only does she host, but she generously offers freebie textures. As if that wasn't enough....she even has tutorials that give clear and concise instructions how to use textures!

How wonderous is that! Sounds like one of those infomercials!

1.I took a picture of my teapot.
2. Edited it in Adobe Photopshop Elements 8.
3, Tweaked it with Pioneer Woman's Boost filter. [free download w/instructions]
4. Then used the kkmusiclovin' texture [below] set on overlay.
5. Then added my text [free fonts from dafont] using blending mode soft light.

Take a look at Kim's Blog. If she can teach me how to play w/ textures she can teach anyone!

I think her textures are awesome. I've had Photoshop for over a year and I can't seem to get myself over my fear of using it. I really want to learn, but I guess I'm digitially-phobic? I'm in awe of you and others who so effortlessly manage to use these photo effects. Beautiful picture!

You are amazing, I have a digital camera but I still hardly know how to use it, and forget about Photoshop...I have to ask my daughter everytime! I found you at my friend's laviequotidienne and I'm following you from Rome, Italy, but I'm Sicilian and I live in Trapani. I'm sure I can learn lots from you.!
